About the position

• Oversee sourcing, interviewing, and training of housekeeping personnel.

• Track inventory of cleaning supplies and guestroom amenities, ordering as necessary.

• Issue daily assignments to housekeepers and laundry attendants.

• Supervise and inspect daily cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.

• Maintain the Lost and Found program.

• Conduct monthly department meetings with housekeeping staff.

• Request and follow up on maintenance issues with the engineering department.

• Assist in resolving guest complaints regarding service and cleanliness.

• Review housekeeping hours for payroll and budget management.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous hospitality housekeeping experience required.
,
• Two to four years of supervisory experience required.

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures.

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English; Spanish is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
