About the Job
We are seeking a patient, dedicated, and experienced homeschool teacher to provide one-on-one instruction for our 7-year-old son (turning 8 in July). He is currently reading at a 1st-grade level, and our primary goal is to help him catch up academically across all core subjects, especially reading, writing, and math.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a personalized curriculum aligned with state education standards.
Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction in core subjects (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies).
Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Create a supportive, encouraging, and structured learning environment.
Communicate with parents about daily activities, progress, and goals.
Integrate hands-on activities and real-world learning when possible.
