Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working as part of an engineering survey crew, performing quality control/quality assurance functions, and assisting in the scoping, negotiation, estimating, and evaluating of Route Surveys/Geomatic Projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of Civil Engineering and Route Location Surveying, including all aspects of transportation and geomatics engineering rules, practices, standards, and principles as they relate to highway design and the duties of the various Units, Branches, and Divisions of NCDOT.
In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role. If you have a passion for transportation systems and want to make a real difference, we encourage you to apply.
