We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to support our Branch Manager in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction for a company in Edgecombe County. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.
About the Role:
The Assistant Branch Manager will play a vital role in the daily operations of our branch, ensuring smooth processes, effective personnel supervision, and a safe working environment. You will be responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in a variety of activities, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, customer service, and team leadership. This position requires a strong understanding of operational procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making, especially when assuming temporary branch manager responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Branch Manager with daily tasks and administrative functions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Manage and coordinate inventory, including incoming/outgoing rental trailers and equipment.
• Ensure quality of work assignments and projects.
• Identify and address safety risks.
• Maintain organized and well-stocked inventory.
• Manage inventory control system for rental and shop equipment/tools.
• Assist with scheduling and proactively manage maintenance, cleaning, modifications, and repairs.
• Maintain service repair logs and trailer check-out/in forms.
• Support upper management with employee life cycle, training, disciplinary processes, and policy enforcement.
• Ensure cost-effective completion of tasks and trailer builds.
• Maintain a list of subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, cleaners, refrigeration, etc.).
