Job Overview
The position available at Dollar General involves hiring Regional Freight Driver to oversee regional and dedicated routes for transporting freight between the company's distribution centers and retail outlets. This role requires drivers to ensure timely and secure deliveries, while also upholding compliance with federal and state transportation regulations.

- It is possible to make up to $90,000 per year (Income fluctuates based on the route, experience level, location, and bonus structures).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Safeguard and streamline the delivery of cargo to retail locations.
- Offload and reload shipments at every delivery stop.
- Follow the rules enforced by the Department of Transportation and uphold safety standards mandated by Dollar General.
- Make sure deliveries reach stores and distribution centers punctually.
- Carry out pre-departure and post-arrival examinations of assigned vehicles.
- Provide outstanding customer care to both employees and suppliers in the store.
Qualifications
- Having an authorized Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- The position mandates a minimum of one year of tractor/trailer driving background.
- A minimum age requirement of 21 years must be met.
- Knowledge of the regulations imposed by the DOT and federal guidelines on motor carrier safety is necessary.
- Skilled in unloading and managing packages weighing as much as 50 lbs.
