About the position
The QA/QC Inspector position is a critical role within our custom thermoplastic and rubber fabrication and manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility of the QA/QC Inspector is to perform quality control measurements and inspections, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and standards. This role involves conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections, as well as generating detailed reports based on the findings. The inspector will utilize precision measuring tools such as measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers to carry out their duties effectively. In addition to inspections, the QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for filing computer reports, which requires familiarity with software such as Excel and Word. The ability to accurately read detailed drawings is essential, as this will aid in the inspection process. The role also involves assisting in organizing material movements both within the plant and externally, as well as conducting inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels. The position requires a good mathematical background and strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding quality control. The QA/QC Inspector will work Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, and the pay range for this position is between $17.00 and $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. This is a temp-to-hire position, providing an opportunity for long-term employment based on performance and company needs.

• High School Diploma (HSD) or GED required.

• Must pass a clear drug screen and background check.

• Formal education or relevant experience in Technical, Production, and Manufacturing is advantageous.

• Preferred 1 year of experience in Manufacturing.
