Job Summary:
Tyrone Area School District is seeking qualified candidates for various teaching positions, including High School Science Teacher, Music Teacher, Speech & Language Pathologist, and Chief School Police Officer. Responsibilities:
Our teachers are responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classrooms, and delivering instruction to students in grades 7-12. The Speech & Language Pathologist will work with students with speech-language related problems, while the Chief School Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. All positions require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold the required certifications and qualifications for each position. For example, the High School Science Teacher must be certified in Biology 7–12, while the Music Teacher requires certification in Music PreK-12. The Speech & Language Pathologist must be certified in Speech and Language Impaired PK-12. The Chief School Police Officer must possess current Act 120 certification and at least 10 years of active law enforcement experience.
