I. Job Summary:

As a Sales Associate specializing in cellphone devices, you will play a key role in our store's success by assisting customers in finding the perfect mobile devices to meet their needs. You will provide exceptional customer service, demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cellphone products, and strive to exceed sales targets.

II. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store.

- Listen attentively to customers' requirements and preferences.

- Guide customers through the selection process, offering expert advice on cellphone devices, features, and plans.

- Ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the sales process.

Product Knowledge:

- Stay updated on the latest cellphone devices, accessories, and industry trends.

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of cellphone specifications, operating systems, and features.

- Clearly communicate technical information to customers in a simple and understandable manner.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

- Upsell and cross-sell cellphone accessories, extended warranties, and service plans.

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Technical Support:

- Assist customers with device setup, including transferring contacts, apps, and data.

- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide solutions or escalate to technical support when necessary.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking shelves as needed.

- Report inventory discrepancies to management.

Compliance and Security:

- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and data protection protocols.

- Follow compliance guidelines for selling age-restricted products and services.

Customer Follow-Up:

- Establish and maintain a database of customer contact information for follow-up and marketing purposes.

- Conduct follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer satisfaction and address any post-sale concerns.

III. Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).

- Must know how to speak English and Spanish

- Previous sales experience, preferably in cellphone retail or consumer electronics.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Technical aptitude and the ability to learn about new cellphone technologies quickly.

- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and stand for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
