Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a Commercial Service Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial electrical estimating, construction, or parts, along with clerical experience within the construction industry. A strong understanding of commercial electrical installations, materials, and code requirements is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience related to commercial electrical services.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit electrical proposals within the scope of commercial tenant improvement projects under the direction of management
• Review service technician reports, project photos and/or schematics to calculate material and labor estimates
• Reference pricing quotes from internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors
• Enter and manage a high volume of data entry to update and maintain estimating software and databases
• Integrate new industry trends, materials, and best practices into estimating processes
• Perform additional clerical duties as needed to support the department

Requirements
• Minimum of one year recent experience in supporting a commercial estimating department in the scope of administrative assistant capacity
• Proficient in using of web-based software and Microsoft Office
• Strong alpha-numeric data entry skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
