Sheet Metal Laborers

Job Summary:
The General Laborer for Prefabricated Steel Buildings performs a variety of tasks to support construction, assembly, and installation of steel structures. Responsibilities include material handling, assisting skilled tradespeople, and maintaining a safe job site.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and transport steel materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist in assembling and erecting prefabricated steel structures.
Operate basic hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and grinders.
Secure steel components using bolts, screws, and fasteners.
Assist in measuring, cutting, and positioning steel parts.
Follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE.
Clean and maintain job sites, tools, and equipment.
Work in coordination with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently.
Perform other general labor tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Prior construction, metalwork, or labor experience is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable working outdoors
Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
Work Environment:
Construction site environment with exposure to weather conditions.
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights for long periods.
May involve working around heavy machinery and loud noises.
