PrideStaff on behalf of a client located in Davie, is seeking an energetic, proactive and good Sheet Metal Workers to be part of their team!
Responsibilities:
-Interpreting technical drawings to accurately measure and mark dimensions on sheet metal.
- Using power tools like shears, brakes, and forming rolls to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required specifications.
-Riveting, or bolting sheet metal pieces together to create assemblies.
-Choosing the appropriate type of sheet metal (galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel) based on project requirements.
- Checking fabricated parts for accuracy and compliance with
specifications.
Skills required:
- Understanding of basic mechanical principles and ability to operate power tools
- Accurate measuring and marking skills to ensure precise cuts and bends
-Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Calculating dimensions, angles, and material quantities
- Precise control when cutting, bending, and assembling sheet metal
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy sheet metal pieces
Must be willing to submit to a background check and a drug screen.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $20.00
