Paint Specialist

The Painter plays a crucial role in our paint shop and sandblast area, ensuring that heavy equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This involves a range of tasks, including:

• Filling out paint sheets at the end of each day
• Using SIS web and DBS to order machine films and decals
• Accessing work order information through DBS
• Stocking paint and supplies
• Ordering paint and decals
• Providing quotes for paint work to other departments within the company
• Operating heavy equipment for movement around the yard
• Applying paints using synthetic enamels, acrylic enamels, urethanes, and carc coating
• Maintaining tooling
• Applying films and decals
• Sandblasting and painting equipment
• Sandblasting, prepping, sanding, taping, painting, and applying decals to heavy machines, trucks, and trailers

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Some college or trade school preferred
• 1-3 years of customer service experience
• 1-3 years of auto body/paint experience
