Description:
+ Prepare basic financial analysis; performs specialized analysis of moderate to complex credits/loans; provides financial analysis and credit review of prospective borrowers; works closely with Lending Officers to complete underwriting.
+ Monitor specified credits to ensure proper cash flow, financial stability of the borrower and its principals, and compliance with loan covenants.
+ Assist Lending Officers with the structuring of credits; serves as a valuable resource to Lending Officer regarding credit/industry analysis.
+ Responsible for ordering appraisals and managing the appraisal process from start to finish.
+ Participate in joint calling on credit customers/prospects; assists in development of new credit business through calling with Lending Officer on existing or prospective customers to gather key information for proper credit analysis.
+ Work with loan operations department and credit/file maintenance to ensure efficient and economical documentation
+ Package different loans
+ Understand financial statements
+ Handle development deals and apartment deals

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Must have 2+ years of commercial real estate underwriting experience
+ Degree from a 4-year university
+ Experience underwriting commercial loans (CRE and C&I) in the $500k to $10M range.
+ Formal credit training
+ Fiserve and Moody analytics experience is a plus
