Honeywell is hiring a Lead Engineering Associate II that will report to the MEMS Sensors and IMU Senior Engineering Manager within Sensing, Guidance, and Navigation. You will be part of a team that design and develop test procedures and standards for highly complex products. You will participate in the development and certification of environment test functionality across multiple products and applications. You will support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business results. You will use your strategic thinking and technical knowledge to lead laboratory improvement and engineering test and evaluation initiatives. You will grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow established test procedures
- Work with engineers to resolve any procedure or process issues
- Work with engineers to identify opportunities for product or process improvements
- Provide systems support and testing through product testing and evaluation, including integration, evaluation and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical assemblies
- Provide feedback and test results to Engineers and project leaders
- Manage equipment utilization, working with engineers and project leads to set priority and schedule testing accordingly
- Experience with electro-mechanical testing
- Failure mode analysis
- Understanding of electrical components, debugging and analysis
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical testing or engineering test labs
WE VALUE
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline such as electronics, electro-mechanical or related area preferred.
- Individuals who are self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and consistently take the initiative to get things done.
- Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing.
- Ability to create action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
